Deep Cleaning Checklist Dubai – Full Room-by-Room Guide for 2026

Most deep cleaning disappointments in Dubai come from the same place: a client and a cleaning company had different ideas of what ‘deep clean’ meant, and neither wrote it down. The client assumed the inside of every cabinet would be done; the company quoted on a ‘standard deep clean’ that doesn’t include cabinet interiors. The work gets done, the client is unhappy, and neither party is technically wrong — they just weren’t working from the same scope.

This checklist is the written-down version of what a professional deep clean should cover in a Dubai apartment or villa. It’s the scope we use at SMS Cleaning for every deep clean, and it’s the scope we’d recommend asking about with any provider you consider. If they can’t produce a similar checklist, or if items from this list come back with ‘that’s not included’, you’re not getting a full deep clean.

Kitchen Deep Cleaning Checklist

Appliances

• ☐ Oven — inside cavity, racks removed and soaked, door glass (inner and outer), knobs and control panel
• ☐ Fridge — all interior shelves and drawers removed and washed, door seal, interior walls, exterior top and sides
• ☐ Microwave — inside walls, turntable tray removed and washed, exterior

After the deep clean, do your own room-by-room walk-through using this list. The verification method is quick: fingertip test on skirting boards and top-of-wardrobe (should be dust-free), water test in grout (water should bead off clean grout, not soak into greasy grout), visual check inside the oven and fridge, and a sniff test in the bathroom near the drain and toilet base (should smell clean, not masked by fragrance).
